TLC Cat Clinic offers the most advanced anesthetics and surgical techniques in feline medicine. All patients are examined prior to surgery and will have preanesthetic blood and urine monitoring performed to assure the anesthetic episode will be as safe as possible.
Anesthetic medications are then tailored to your pet’s specific metabolic needs. While under anesthesia, your pet’s vitals will be continuously monitored by a certified veterinary technician. They will be monitoring your pet’s oxygen saturation, heart rate, respiratory rate, ECG, blood pressure, carbon dioxide exhalation levels, and temperature. In addition, intravenous catheters are placed to administer fluid therapy and a breathing tube is placed to protect your pet’s airway.
We perform routine and complex spays and neuters, mass excisions, bladder stone removals, and gastrointestinal surgery (including foreign body removals). Patients will be referred to specialists for more complex procedures.
We do not perform declawing. Please visit The Paw Project for further information.
