Emergency & Urgent Care Services

TRIAGING: Emergency vs. Urgent Care vs. Non-Urgent Care needs

At TLC Cat Clinic we strive to provide you and your feline as many services as possible, there are some conditions for which we don’t have the necessary equipment or specialized staffing to accommodate.

We have compiled a triage list of conditions that require emergency care, urgent care, or those that can wait for an appointment with us.
True Emergency
If your kitty is experiencing any of the Emergencies listed below, DO NOT CALL US. IMMEDIATELY CONTACT AN EMERGENCY CLINIC. Time is of the essence in an emergency.
  • Severe trauma (hit by car, animal attack, head trauma, severe or multiple injuries)
  • Respiratory distress
  • Collapse

  • Active seizures/cluster seizures/status epilepticus

Urgent Care
If your feline’s problem is listed below, it should be treated on an Urgent Care basis.  If during our regular business hours, please call us as soon as possible.  Know we have limited daily Urgent Care slots and will do our best to get you in, but this may not always be possible.  Outside our normal business hours, please contact one of the facilities listed below for assistance.
