Construction on Highway 55 could lead to detours coming to and from TLC Cat Clinic. Learn more about the affected areas here: Highway 55 Project
At TLC Cat Clinic, we strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The old saying, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” is extremely accurate. By providing and recommending top notch preventative care, we can prolong your companion’s twilight years.
We only use Purevax vaccinations by Boehringer Ingelheim. These non-adjuvanted vaccines were designed specifically for cats to reduce the incidence of injection site sarcomas (cancer development at injection sites) by eliminating some of the inflammatory chemicals suspected to contribute to this devastating disease. We are proud to carry their rabies vaccines (both the 1 year and 3 year labeled product), distemper vaccine, and feline leukemia vaccine.
Annual intestinal parasite and blood work screening will be recommended to patients of ALL ages. This provides your doctor with a baseline of what normal looks like for your specific pet, so if they become sick we can zero in on those changes and provide more tailored therapy.
We believe strongly in having ALL cats on monthly, year-round prevention for intestinal parasites, ear mites, fleas, and heartworm disease, even if they are indoor only. It not only protects your companion, but your family as well. Some of these parasites can have diseases that are transmissible to humans.
Adopted a new cat into your family? Cats adopted from the Animal Humane Society or other non-profit rescue organization will receive their first doctor's exam at TLC Cat Clinic for free within 2 weeks of the adoption date. This applies to the exam fee only (does not apply to diagnostics, medications and other services). Must be able to prove adoption date.
