Dr. Tessa Shea, Owner
Dr. Tessa Shea grew up right here in Plymouth. From an early age whenever she was asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Her response was always the same, "An animal doctor."
After attending the College of Saint Benedict, Dr. Shea realized her dream and attended the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine from where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Since then, she has worked in small animal private practice in the Twin Cities. |
Dr. Shea's professional interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and ultrasonography. She holds a very special place in her heart for elderly kitties, and has focused on becoming an expert in feline geriatric health.
Dr. Shea currently lives in the west metro with her husband, Phil, and their two teenage cats: Sherlock and Elementary. In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, cooking, and spending time with her nieces, nephews, and god-children. Dr. Shea and her husband have an ambitious goal to travel to every state in our beautiful country in an RV when they retire!

Stephanie, Veterinary Technician

Stephanie attended the veterinary technician program at Argosy until 2008. Stephanie and Dr. Shea both had their first jobs in the veterinary field together, back in 2006. Since then, she has worked in small animal practice with both dogs and cats. Stephanie joined the TLC Team in 2018 and is very excited to help only kitties, especially the spicy ones. Her particular interests are dentistry, diagnostic imaging and client education.
Stephanie currently lives in the west metro with her husband, Dave. They have two cats: Evee and Glen."

C.J., Certified Veterinary Technician
C.J. is a Certified Veterinary Technician who graduated with her A.A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology from Globe University/Minnesota School of Business in 2009.
After a decade of experience with various small animals, she decided to focus her career on feline medicine and join the TLC Cat Clinic team in 2019. Although she loves cats of all ages and breeds, senior cats have a very special place in her heart. Her favorite interests are preventative care, internal medicine and anesthesia. C.J. currently lives in the north metro with her fiancé and her handsomest boy cats Sunny D and Papa Midnite. |
Kiley, Certified Veterinary Technician
Kiley is a Certified Veterinary Technician who graduated with her A.A.S degree in Veterinary Technology from Ridgewater College in 2017 and obtained her certification in 2020.
She has a passion for ensuring cats get the care they need to live long, healthy and happy lives. She enjoys educating clients, dentistry, imaging and anesthesia. Black cats are also a favorite of hers! She is very proud to be part of the TLC Cat Clinic team since 2021 and looks forward to helping more feline friends. Kiley currently lives in the north metro with her very fluffy black cat named Dimir and a snake named Arrow. |
Erin, Office Manager &
Certified Veterinary Technician

Erin is a Certified Veterinary Technician that graduated from Minnesota School of Business/Globe College in 2007 and obtained her certification in 2008. She worked at mixed small animal practices for 10 years until deciding to dedicate her work to only cats in 2015. She became a Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional through the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) and is also a Fear Free Certified Professional. She worked at feline only clinics in Virginia until returning to Minnesota and joining the TLC team in 2022.
Erin enjoys volunteering at trap neuter return (TNR) clinics to help the feral cat population, and she also loves fostering pregnant cats and kittens until they find forever homes. She has a special interest in kittens, dentistry, and client education.
She currently lives in the south metro with her cat Milo.
